Job summary

Fraser Health's Langley Memorial Hospital is seeking a Full Time, Permanent Clinical Operations Manager to lead one of the busiest Operating Rooms. You will provide operational leadership for perioperative services, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, professional practice leaders, and site leadership to support surgical access, optimize patient flow, and advance strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in health sciences or related field with seven years' related experience, including two years in a leadership role; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages resources through operating and capital budgets and contract performance review.
• Provides leadership to engender engagement, innovation, and safe, quality care.
• Recruits, mentors, and provides feedback for leadership development.
• Monitors retention, engagement, safety, absenteeism and overtime to meet department objectives.
• Leads quality care, identifies risks, and drives service improvement.
• Ensures service contracts meet professional standards and regulatory obligations.
• Coordinates relationships with medical staff and other departments; manages shared resources.
