Zusammenfassung

Alberta Health Services is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse - Operating Room Technician for the DTC Surgical Suite at Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton. The role covers scrub and circulating responsibilities within a busy, multi-disciplinary surgical team, focusing on safe peri-operative care for varied procedures.

The position requires 3–5 years of OR experience, ORT certification, MIS knowledge, and strong communication.

Qualifikationen

Completion of an accredited LPN education program.
Active, or eligible for, registration and a practice permit as an LPN with CLHA.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Certification as an Operating Room Technician (ORT).
3–5 years current OR experience.
Knowledge of advanced minimally invasive surgery (MIS).
Ability to collaborate within an integrated team.
Strong problem solving and good judgment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and written communication.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
