Job summary

Interior Health’s Vernon Jubilee Hospital in Vernon, BC is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Perioperative team. You will provide direct patient care in the operating room as part of a dynamic surgical team.

This is a Relief Part-time (0.87FTE) opportunity ending March 14, 2028 or until the return of incumbent. Shifts will include days, evenings and nights, rotating as required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in British Columbia.
• Experience in perioperative or operating room settings preferred.
• Ability to scrub and circulate during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides practical nursing services in an operating room environment as part of a surgical team.
• Performs scrubbing and circulating duties in accordance with standards.
• Participates in pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care planning and documentation.
