  • Hours: Monday - Friday 9AM-5PM (flexible hours in your timezone)
  • Total Compensation: $81,000 - $97,000 CAD
  • Starting Pay: $81,000 - 89,250 CAD

The Role

As Performance Strategist in our Performance department, you will optimize Thrive’s operations, establish best practices, develop growth initiatives, lead a team, and improve client relationships through strategic and technical excellence.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead in performance marketing strategies, research, media planning, and execution from inception to optimization, reporting KPIs to stakeholders.
  • Manage client relationships, onboarding, and business reviews, using cutting-edge tools to ensure success.
  • Mentor team members, address performance challenges, and support their professional development.
  • Drive a culture of excellence, guide daily operations, and collaborate across teams for continuous improvement.

Onboarding & Growth

  • First 30 days: familiarize with tools, onboard to projects, identify opportunities.
  • First 60 days: actively contribute to projects, develop strategies, share insights.
  • First 90 days: take on leadership roles, support planning, strategy, and team development.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing multi-channel performance marketing accounts with $200K+ USD monthly spend, across platforms like Meta, Google, TikTok, etc., with positive ROI.
  • Proven leadership in mentoring junior team members and strategic guidance.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient with visualization tools (Google Sheets, Tableau, etc.).
  • Experience with performance media across various verticals, responsible for pacing, forecasting, and impact analysis.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills, managing relationships and resolving issues effectively.
  • Ability to communicate marketing concepts and incorporate measurement in strategies.
