Job summary

WestJet Group is seeking an Analyst to support Dayforce reporting and position management within the People Team. You will transform Dayforce data into trusted reports and partner with analysts to maintain data integrity, access, and confidentiality across the organization.

Responsibilities include solving complex reporting challenges, ensuring accurate reporting relationships and vacancy information, and shaping a self-service Dayforce reporting strategy for WestJet and Sunwing.

Overview

WestJet is transforming its People Technology landscape from multiple systems to a unified, cloud-based platform centered on Dayforce. As part of the People Team, the Analyst plays a key role in the support and reliability of people systems data with a strong focus on Dayforce reporting and position management. This role partners with internal stakeholders to maintain data integrity, access, and confidentiality in reporting across the organization while improving the user experience across the People Team.

What You’ll Do

• Transform Dayforce data into trusted reports that help Sunwing and WestJet leaders and business users run their programs and make informed decisions.
• Working closely with a team of system analysts and specialists to solve complex reporting challenges and support the development of solutions for position management issues by uncovering root causes, testing solutions, and helping implement meaningful system enhancements.
• Play a key role in supporting the position structures that connect our organization, ensuring reporting relationships, occupant limits, and vacancy information are accurate and reliable in Dayforce.
• Shape the future of self-service reporting by building a Dayforce strategy that empowers People and business teams across WestJet and Sunwing to access the right information securely and confidently.
• Bring your ideas to life by identifying improvements that make our technology, processes, reporting, and employee experience smarter and simpler.

What You’ll Bring

• Post-secondary education in human resources, business administration, information systems, analytics, or a related field is an asset.
• Experience with HR systems, reporting tools, data management, or position management processes.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to maintain accuracy across data.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills; experience with Dayforce is an asset.
