As part of Caseware's global People Operations team, the People Operations Associate plays a vital role in delivering a consistent and data-driven employee experience across global regions, focusing on the Americas. We seek someone passionate about HR systems, enjoys working with data, and eager to streamline processes through technology.

You will collaborate with colleagues worldwide to ensure our HR systems (including BambooHR) are accurately maintained, effectively integrated with other platforms, and optimized for global compliance and employee lifecycle management.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Location: Hybrid role requiring 3 days/week in our Toronto office at 351 King Street East, Toronto, Ontario.

What you'll be doing:

  1. HRIS & Data Management:
  2. Maintain and update employee records in BambooHR, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  3. Conduct system audits, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
  4. Support system updates, permissions management, and integrations with payroll and other platforms.
  5. Generate reports with our Senior HR Analyst to support decision-making and analyze workforce trends.
  1. Operational Support & Process Optimization:
  2. Execute employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, changes, offboarding) using HR systems and automation tools.
  3. Assist in improving HR workflows and developing SOPs.
  4. Coordinate with IT and Finance to ensure seamless data flow and internal controls.
  1. Compliance & Document Management:
  2. Ensure compliance with labor laws and policies through documentation and system updates.
  3. Track policy changes and ensure employee acknowledgment via HRIS.
  4. Maintain digital employee files, ensuring data privacy and audit standards are met.
  1. Employee Experience & Communication:
  2. Coordinate onboarding logistics, including system setup and welcome communications.
  3. Serve as a point of contact for employees in the Americas, guiding them through HR processes.
  4. Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent messaging and user experience.

What you will bring:

  • At least 3 years of experience in HR operations or similar roles, including internships or co-op placements.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (preferably BambooHR) and strong technical skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel and reporting tools.
  • High attention to detail, with a focus on data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Interest in process improvement and leveraging technology for HR efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in remote or global settings.
  • HR coursework, certification (e.g., CHRP), or related education is a plus.
