Job summary

National Bank is seeking a Banking Advisor in Canada who will listen to clients, provide tailored financial advice, and support transactions across personal and small business needs. You’ll guide customers through mortgage renewals and connect them with specialists as required.

With a DEC or equivalent and an MFR licence (or plan to obtain within three months), you’ll contribute to a compliant, risk-aware team that values development, mobility, and a people-centric advisory approach.

Qualifications

• Hold a college diploma (DEC) or equivalent.
• Hold a mutual fund representative (MFR) licence – obtain within three months of hiring with full refund after licence obtained.
• Advisory service experience, inclusive attitude and openness to diversity.

Responsibilities

• Listen to clients’ needs and resolve complex situations.
• Give advice and offer appropriate solutions for Personal and Small Business clients to meet transaction, investment, personal financing, insurance and estate planning needs.
• Support clients through mortgage renewal or renegotiation.
• Ensure client satisfaction and engagement.
• Refer clients to specialist colleagues for their specific needs.
• Ensure adherence to compliance and risk management rules.
