This role is also eligible for a compressed work week.
Job Summary : Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Employee and Labour Relations, People & Culture, the Manager Systems and Support is responsible for pension and benefits administration, managing all Kinark’s human capital systems, analytics, reporting, and overseeing data integrity.
Responsibilities include :
- Implementing, maintaining, and managing Kinark’s human capital systems, including overseeing upgrades and optimization projects.
- Managing pension and benefits program administration, People and Culture reporting, data analysis, policy interpretation, and supporting payroll data input.
- Leading a small team of People and Culture Coordinators.
This is a temporary full-time position with an 18-month contract.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily team operations ensuring high-quality People and Culture services.
- Lead the team in HR systems training, support, and process communication.
- Manage HR systems configurations, upgrades, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Develop HRIS standards, ensure data integrity, and resolve system issues.
- Lead initiatives related to human capital systems, policies, and projects.
Oversee Pension and Benefits Program Administration and Salary Band Structure
- Execute strategies to improve employee benefits and pension programs.
- Administer Kinark’s salary band structure, bonus plans, incentives, and liaise with providers.
- Participate in benefits renewal processes and recommend enhancements.
- Manage disability claims processes and liaise with insurance providers.
Drive People and Culture metrics and reporting
- Use HR data for continuous improvement and decision-making.
- Create reports to support workforce planning and employee experience initiatives.
- Collaborate on policies and procedures to manage workplace matters.
Participate as a key management member, leading and developing a People and Culture team.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development to team members.
Qualifications :
- University Degree and / or postgraduate certificate in Human Resources Management or related field.
- At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, with 3+ years in leadership.
- Strong knowledge of HR data analytics and HRIS systems (experience with PeopleSoft, Kronos, Deltek is a plus).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis (Excel) and report writing.
- Knowledge of HR / employment law and policies.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; project management certification is an asset.
