Job summary

Definity Financial Corporation is seeking a Manager, People & Culture Communications to lead a small team of communication professionals while directly designing and executing communications that drive employee experience and support a thriving workplace culture.

Reporting to the Director, Internal Communications, you will translate HR policies, Total Rewards programs, and cultural initiatives into engaging, human-centric messaging for the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in internal/c corporate HR communications or HR communications.
• Strong knowledge of HR concepts including compensation, benefits and performance management.
• Ability to translate complex HR jargon into clear, human-centric messaging.
• Proven campaign and project management skills across multiple annual cycles.
• Knowledge of accessibility guidelines (AODA or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary communications counsel for People and Culture, guiding strategy and execution.
• Lead end-to-end communications for annual HR programs including Total Rewards and policy updates.
• Develop campaigns around culture, wellness, and organizational change initiatives.
• Create toolkits, briefs, and FAQs for people leaders to discuss HR programs confidently.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of communications professionals.
