Role Overview

As a Pension Outsourcing Senior Associate, you will perform a variety of defined benefit plan administration services for clients, contribute to special projects, and support ad hoc client needs. You will serve as the project manager for daily operations, contribute to client management, and mentor less experienced associates.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for clients regarding service delivery
• Respond to and resolve complex issues escalated by clients and colleagues
• Review work and deliverables of analysts
• Report issues to directors as appropriate
• Enhance expertise in retirement plan design and administration
• Participate in career growth opportunities
• Utilize advanced tools and collaborate with industry top talent
• Prepare complex benefit calculations and trust instructions
• Manage participant data, identifying and resolving issues
• Address complex plan questions raised by analysts
• Maintain documentation and employ WTW's professional standards
• Ensure compliance with plan documents and regulations
• Lead team efforts to meet budgets, timelines, and quality standards
• Deliver projects exceeding client expectations
• Improve processes to increase efficiency
• Train and develop less experienced team members

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in defined benefit plan administration and manual calculations
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, or finance
• Strong knowledge of defined benefit plan design fundamentals
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Attention to detail and professional client-focused approach
• Desire to learn and grow professionally
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently

Language Requirements
