Job summary

Ontario Pension Board is seeking a Testing Strategy Lead to drive the pension modernization program. You will oversee test strategy, governance, and readiness activities, ensuring business requirements are met and risks are managed across large-scale technology implementations.

You will partner with business, technology and change management teams to advance testing practices, automation, and solution readiness, enabling a successful deployment and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience required.
• Extensive experience in testing, including test strategies, governance, SIT/UAT, defect management.
• Familiar with automated testing strategies and platforms.
• Practical knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methods.
• Strong analytical, planning and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of program-wide testing framework and governance.
• Oversee end-to-end testing plans, including SIT, UAT, regression and readiness testing.
• Advise stakeholders on testing approaches for complex processes and data migrations.
• Coordinate testing with vendors and internal teams to align objectives and resolve issues.
• Monitor progress and risks, driving quality and readiness for deployment.
