Job summary

PELORAA Physiotherapy & Pelvic Health in Ottawa, Ontario, seeks a compassionate pelvic health physiotherapist to provide individualized, evidence-informed care for diverse patients including women, men, pregnancy, and postpartum clients.

You will work in a private, welcoming clinic, collaborating with other health professionals and supporting return to activity while maintaining patient-centered communication and long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
• Trained in pelvic health physiotherapy and internal pelvic floor assessment/treatment, or actively pursuing training.
• Comfortable patient education and evidence-informed treatment.
• Strong communicator for sensitive conversations with patients.

PELORAA Physiotherapy & Pelvic Health is growing, and we’re looking for a compassionate and motivated pelvic health physiotherapist to join our team in Barrhaven, Ottawa.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a physiotherapist who is passionate about pelvic health and interested in providing individualized, evidence-informed care for women, men, pregnancy and postpartum patients, and other individuals experiencing pelvic health concerns.

You may work with patients experiencing:

• Urinary incontinence, urgency & frequency
• Pelvic pain
• Painful intercourse
• Pelvic organ prolapse
• Pregnancy-related pelvic & low-back pain
• Fecal incontinence
• Overactive or tight pelvic floor muscles
• Erectile dysfunction where pelvic rehabilitation is appropriate
• Pre- and post-prostate surgery rehabilitation
• Return to exercise, sport & everyday activity

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who is empathetic, professional, collaborative, and genuinely passionate about pelvic health.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
• Trained in pelvic health physiotherapy and appropriate internal pelvic floor assessment/treatment, or actively pursuing relevant training
• Comfortable providing patient education and evidence-informed treatment
• A strong communicator who can make sensitive conversations feel comfortable and respectful
• Interested in collaborating with other healthcare professionals
• Motivated to build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients

Experienced pelvic health physiotherapists are encouraged to apply, and newer physiotherapists with appropriate pelvic health training and a strong desire to grow in this field are also welcome.
