Job description

Step Into an Established Pelvic Health Caseload

Synergy Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation is looking for a talented, passionate and personable Part-Time Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our team at our Danforth location.

This is a particularly exciting opportunity because you won’t be starting from scratch.

Our current pelvic health physiotherapist is relocating, which means the successful candidate will have the opportunity to step into an existing pelvic health caseload and continue caring for an established patient population.

Our clinic is located at 2155 Danforth Avenue, near Danforth and Woodbine, just a two-minute walk from Woodbine subway station.

Why Join Synergy?

Synergy was built around a simple idea: create an environment where excellent clinicians have the support, resources and autonomy they need to provide exceptional patient care.

We’re proud to have built a clinic culture that is collaborative, social, education-focused and genuinely enjoyable to work in.

As part of our team, you’ll have access to:

  • An existing pelvic health caseload ready to transition to the successful candidate
  • Competitive compensation
  • Additional opportunities to earn income beyond your regular fee split
  • A health and wellness bonus
  • Ongoing clinical mentorship
  • Opportunities to learn alongside experienced physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals
  • Regular staff socials and team events
  • Full administrative support
  • Appointment scheduling managed by our admin team
  • Billing and payment processing handled for youLaundry taken care of
  • Clinical supplies and equipment provided
  • A strong existing patient and referral base
  • Opportunities for professional growth within an established and growing organization
A Clinic That Invests in Its Clinicians

Clinical development is an important part of our culture.

Our team includes experienced physiotherapists with advanced postgraduate training, and mentorship is built into how we operate. We believe that even experienced clinicians should continue learning, discussing cases and challenging how they think.

We want clinicians who are interested in becoming better practitioners-not simply seeing a higher number of patients.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a pelvic health physiotherapist who combines strong clinical skills with excellent communication and a genuine desire to help people.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Is registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Has completed recognized pelvic health physiotherapy training
  • Is comfortable assessing and treating pelvic health conditions within their training and scope of practice
  • Provides thoughtful, evidence-informed and patient-centred care
  • Brings energy, empathy and professionalism to their patient interactions
  • Builds strong and lasting therapeutic relationships with patients
  • Is curious and motivated to continue improving clinically
  • Is an independent thinker while also enjoying collaboration and teamwork
  • Communicates well with patients, colleagues and other healthcare professionals
  • Wants to be part of a clinic culture rather than simply come in, treat patients and leave

Previous experience treating a pelvic health caseload is an asset, but finding the right clinician and teammate is most important to us.

About Synergy Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation

Synergy Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation is an established multidisciplinary clinic serving Toronto’s east end.

Our approach is centred around individualized, evidence-informed care and a strong therapeutic relationship between clinician and patient.

We’re fortunate to work with a talented group of physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals who enjoy collaborating, sharing ideas and helping one another grow.

We also believe that work should be enjoyable. We take patient care seriously without taking ourselves too seriously, and we’ve worked hard to create a team environment where people genuinely like working together.

Why This Opportunity Is Different

Building a pelvic health practice can take considerable time.

In this role, an established caseload already exists.

For the right physiotherapist, this is an opportunity to join a respected clinic, inherit an existing patient population, receive strong administrative and clinical support, and continue building a rewarding pelvic health practice within an established organization.

And because this is a part-time position, it may also be an excellent fit for someone looking to add pelvic health hours to an existing practice or gradually expand their clinical schedule.
