Job summary

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital in Toronto, ON, is seeking a temporary part-time Research Assistant (0.8 FTE) to join the Bloorview Research Institute and work on pediatric neuromuscular conditions and Rett syndrome projects.

The successful candidate will support regulated clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies and registries, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and demonstrate strong communication, organization and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in sciences, social sciences or health-related discipline required.
• 2 years of research experience desirable.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience conducting literature reviews, data analysis, and manuscript writing an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment of participants and liaise on study information.
• Prepare research protocols and ethics submissions.
• Support regulated clinical trial visits and data entry.
• Support KT activities.
