Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in neuroscience, speech-language pathology, medical sciences, cognitive psychology or related field.
• Experience with speech motor experimentation, neuromodulation and/or neuroimaging techniques.
• Experience with data collection, analysis, visualization and interpretation.
• Record of contribution to scientific, peer‑reviewed publications.
• Excellent English writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research under the direction of the Principal Investigator within the Research Institute.
• Carry out a project within the CONNECT Lab including recruitment, scheduling, data collection, ethics updates, and lab software/hardware maintenance.
• Use expertise in speech neuroscience, neuroimaging, and neuromodulation to contribute to a team project.
• Plan and conduct experiments, collate data, evaluate results, prepare findings, and draft manuscripts and grant proposals.
• Provide direction within the CONNECT Lab on technical matters and stay current on related research.
