Job summary

NexWav is seeking a Payroll Technician in a hybrid Quebec/Lévis-based role. You will manage a complete payroll cycle every two weeks, including commissions and bonuses, while ensuring data integrity and timely T4 submissions.

Ideal candidates bring mastery of the Quebec payroll, autonomy, and strong service mindset to support employees and managers in a structured environment with day-one benefits and a 35-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete payroll cycle in specialized software, up to final production.
• Integrate data from managers and verify commissions and bonuses.
• Keep records up to date during hires, departures and personnel movements.
• Administer insurance, CNESST, pensions and RPDB changes.
• Prepare T4 slips by deadlines and established practices.
• Respond to employee and manager inquiries with accuracy and service.

You will handle payroll every two weeks, including commissions and bonuses. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the complete payroll cycle in specialized software, up to the final production.

• Keeping records up to date during hiring, departures, and personnel movements.
• Administering elements related to insurance, CNESST, pensions, and changes to the RPDB.

• Responding to employee and manager inquiries accurately and with a focus on service.
