Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of payroll technicians
• Manage the complete payroll cycle for non-unionized head office employees
• Handle payroll for unionized and non-unionized staff
• Prepare payroll-related journal entries
• Analyze payroll-related general ledger accounts
• Manage taxable benefits
• Review discrepancies to ensure payroll accuracy
• Verify and approve payments to organizations
• Assist in updating training data as needed
• Manage the CNESST Régime Rétrospectif financial file
• Generate various reports for internal, external, and statistical purposes
• Prepare annual government reports
• Support special project implementations
• Participate in standardizing processes and procedures

Qualifications

• ACP certification or relevant academic degree (asset)
• 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with Nethris or other ERP systems (asset)
• Proficiency in Excel
• Bilingual abilities (asset)
