Payroll Specialist / Payroll Administrator

Location: St. Catharines, ON
Pay: $25–$30/hour, depending on experience
Contract: Minimum 1 month, with potential for extension or permanent employment

We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a manufacturing organization in St. Catharines. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong full-cycle payroll experience who is comfortable working in a unionized environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing full-cycle weekly payroll for approximately 114 employees, including:

• 100 unionized employees
• 14 salaried employees

The company uses ADP Workforce and is looking for someone who can step in and provide payroll support during a transition period. The organization has recently been acquired by a U.S.-based company, and support and training resources are available.

Detailed payroll procedures and instructions have been documented to assist with onboarding and the transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle weekly payroll for approximately 114 employees
• Manage payroll for both unionized and salaried employees
