We’re looking for an experienced Accounts payable and Payroll professional who can process payroll within a multi-company organization, ideally with experience across BC/AB, to join our team. This person will process a high volume of invoices and process semi-monthly payroll for a growing construction & development company. Ideal industry experience: real/estate, construction, manufacturing, property management preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage full-cycle accounts payable and payroll operations.
• Process semi-monthly payroll for 110 employees in both BC and Alberta using Sage 300 CRE and ADP Workforce Now.
• Handle subcontractor payments, expense reimbursements, and reconcile monthly reports.
• Process and track approximately 1,500 invoices per month.
• Perform 3-way matching, manage EFT, HCH, and wire transfers, and organize payment schedules.
• Reconcile the AP ledger with the General Ledger and support internal compliance and audit requirements.
• Communicate directly with vendors and cross-functional teams, including the product team, to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate cash flow tracking and vendor payment timelines.
• Manage T4s, government remittances, and benefit administration.
• Review, process, and reconcile employee expense reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and system efficiencies.

What You Bring

• Post-secondary education in accounting, payroll, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable and Payroll.
• Proficiency with Sage 300 CRE (required) and Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now (asset).
• Solid understanding of payroll compliance and legislation in BC and Alberta.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a team-first mindset and a desire to learn and grow.
