Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Analyst, Operations Data Integrity in London, Ontario. You will analyze and interpret labour data for mail operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and adherence to collective agreements and SAP time management practices.

You will provide first-line support for data collection and reporting systems, diagnose issues, and coach operations management. Strong data analytics and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of related work experience.
• Good knowledge of Collective Agreements.
• Good knowledge and ability to apply up to date techniques and practices in data collection, analysis, reporting and statistical analysis.
• Superior database management.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Collects, compiles and processes information related to hours in mail operations activities and for the distribution of performance indicators to clients through appropriate reports.
• Disseminates SAP system updates/issues/configuration changes to local management and provides on-floor training to team leaders; coordinates with Payroll/HPM/OHS&E/LR and National IMI.
• Identifies and resolves pay affecting time entry and quota issues involving complex contractual entitlements; recovers overpaid entitlements and payments.
• Reviews and maintains systems, procedures and documentation; conducts audits to verify compliance and takes corrective action; audits employee leave quotas.
• Provides feedback, training and support for Operations and colleagues in data systems utilization; develops job aids and improves data interpretation.
• Acts as a focal point for communication of HO policies and procedures related to performance indicators, systems and reporting.
• Builds knowledge of production planning, staffing and forecasting; maintains knowledge of corporate software to generate reports and presentations.
• May contact internal or external suppliers for equipment maintenance or escalation.
