Payroll Administrator :
Position Type : Full-Time

Position Overview :
As the Payroll Administrator, you will ensure that the organization's bi-weekly payroll is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with all government regulations. You will assist employees with pay issues or changes to taxes, withholdings, or personal information.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to) :
- Weekly processing of bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using current payroll software (ADP Workforce Now);
- Enter, maintain, and process information in the payroll system, including employee’s hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses, or other compensation, as well as time worked, paid leave, holidays, deductions, and personal details;
- Ensure proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions;
- Issue or reissue physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge;
- Record and process federal and state payroll tax deposits;
Required Skills and Experience :
- Must be at least 18 years old;
- Associate's degree in accounting or related field with a minimum of 5 years experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Workday is desirable;
- Strong customer service skills;
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software;
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll software;
- Maintain and treat all information as confidential;
- Ability to deal tactfully with all levels of employees and client representatives;
- Ability to read, write, understand, and carry out instructions in English;
- Ability to verbally communicate effectively in English;
- Ability to maintain accuracy, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively;
Work Environment :
- Indoor office environment with potential for extended seated periods;
- Continuous use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse.
Physical Demands :
- Ability to carry, push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds;
- Operate office equipment as needed.
