Trotter & Morton is hiring a Full-Time Payroll Administrator to join our Calgary team. You will manage payroll processing, time entry, deductions, and benefits while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. The role supports onboarding, terminations, ROE, and T4 compliance for multi-provincial payroll operations.

The ideal candidate has experience with payroll software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of or working towards PCP - Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification is an asset.
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalency is required.

Responsibilities

• Process onboarding, terminations and status changes accurately and timely.
• Prepare and verify employee pay statements and time entries.
• Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and staff.
• Enter time and process deductions, benefits and garnishments correctly.
• Issue ROE and annual T4 forms with accuracy.
• Ensure payroll records are up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain accurate records.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
