Job summary

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Accounting, Payroll, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in payroll, accounting, AR, or related office environment.
• Experience with payroll systems, QuickBooks, and Excel.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Set up new employees in payroll and HR systems, ensuring accurate data entry.
• Process timesheets, earnings, deductions, and benefit changes.
• Prepare year-end payroll activities, including T4 preparation and reporting.
• Complete payroll-related journal entries and support monthly accruals.
• Prepare Records of Employment and other payroll documents.
• Oversee accounts receivable from billing through collection.
• Prepare and reverse monthly accruals and support month-end tasks.
• Assist with month-end, audits, and other accounting projects.
