Job summary

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in merchant services or payment operations.
• 2–3 years of direct team management.
• Hands-on PCI-DSS compliance experience.
• Experience configuring payment gateways.
• Experience with recurring billing systems.
• Experience managing bank and vendor relationships.
• Experience KYB documentation guidance.
• Conflict resolution and coaching skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of Implementation Specialists and Trainers for merchant services setup and training.
• Ensure timely merchant account setup, PCI workflows, and recurring billing configurations.
• Guide clients through underwriting and onboarding docs; build verification resources.
• Manage direct reports including hiring, training, and workload monitoring.
• Track team performance, timelines, and escalations.
• Handle escalations, held transactions, and merchant account issues with partners.
• Partner with Security, DevOps, Compliance, Finance, and CSI for compliant operations.
• Maintain documentation for onboarding, gateway config, and MID structuring across lines.
• Coordinate with project managers to align payments work with schedules and expectations.
• Monitor PCI-DSS and card network changes and adjust processes accordingly.
• Lead regular status meetings and set clear priorities.
