Job summary

Iris Software is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong expertise in payments modernization programs and system integration. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to gather requirements and support delivery of enterprise payment transformation projects.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
Experience with payment modernization and transformation projects.
Strong SQL skills for data analysis.
Experience with APIs, middleware, and system integration.
Knowledge of ISO 20022, ACH/EFT, SWIFT, and Real-Time Payments.
Experience with Agile, Jira, and Confluence.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements.
Work on payment modernization initiatives involving legacy-to-modern platform transformation.
Collaborate with stakeholders and technology teams to define functional and non-functional requirements.
Create BRD, FRD, process flows, and use cases.
Support integration initiatives involving APIs, middleware, and third-party payment systems.
Conduct gap analyses, impact assessments, and data mapping.
Facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and stakeholder meetings.
Support UAT planning, test case creation, defect triage, and production deployment activities.
Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are addressed within payment solutions.
Work within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
