• Strong SQL skills for data analysis.

• Knowledge of ISO 20022, ACH/EFT, SWIFT, and Real-Time Payments.
• Experience with Agile, Jira, and Confluence.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements.
• Work on payment modernization initiatives involving legacy-to-modern platform transformation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technology teams to define functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create BRD, FRD, process flows, and use cases.
• Support integration initiatives involving APIs, middleware, and third-party payment systems.
• Conduct gap analyses, impact assessments, and data mapping.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and stakeholder meetings.
• Support UAT planning, test case creation, defect triage, and production deployment activities.
• Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are addressed within payment solutions.
• Work within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong expertise in Payments, Modernization Programs, and System Integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support the delivery of enterprise payment transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements.
• Work on payment modernization initiatives involving legacy-to-modern platform transformation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to define functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create detailed business requirement documents (BRD), functional requirement specifications (FRD), process flows, and use cases.
• Support integration initiatives involving APIs, middleware, and third-party payment systems.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and data mapping exercises.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and stakeholder meetings.
• Support UAT planning, test case creation, defect triage, and production deployment activities.
• Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are addressed within payment solutions.
• Work within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Banking or Financial Services industry experience.
• Experience with cloud-based modernization initiatives.
• Familiarity with payment platforms and transaction processing systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements within the payments domain.
• CBAP, CCBA, or related BA certifications are an asset.
