Job summary

• API Requirements & Technical Mapping: translate business goals and EWS network rules into precise API specifications, data payload mappings, endpoint definitions, and error-handling protocols.
• Agile Requirements Delivery: lead backlog grooming, write production-ready User Stories with strict Acceptance Criteria (Gherkin/BDD), and maintain clear process maps.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with backend engineering, QA, security, and payment operations teams to validate API behavior using tools like Postman and ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., Reg E).

Type: 12+ months Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) & Business Analyst to drive our Zelle payment initiatives. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical engineering teams, business stakeholders, and Early Warning Services (EWS) standards. You will gather end-to-end API requirements, design payment workflows, and lead Agile delivery to build seamless, secure P2P payment experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Zelle Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the primary consultant for Zelle domain logic, including enrollment, directory mapping (mobile/email tokenization), P2P/Me-to-Me transactions, real-time clearing, and fraud/risk controls.
• API Requirements & Technical Mapping: Translate business goals and EWS network rules into precise API specifications, data payload mappings, endpoint definitions, and error-handling protocols.
• Agile Requirements Delivery: Lead backlog grooming, write production-ready User Stories with strict Acceptance Criteria (Gherkin/BDD), and maintain clear process maps (sequence diagrams, swimlanes).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with backend engineering, QA, security, and payment operations teams to validate API behavior using tools like Postman and ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., Reg E).
