Job summary

A fashion recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Patternmaker in Montreal. The ideal candidate will have a Certified Diploma in Fashion Design, strong skills in patternmaking and garment construction, and proficiency in software such as Illustrator and Photoshop. Responsibilities include creating patterns, assisting in fit sessions, and ensuring high standards for production garments. This full-time position requires bilingualism in French and English.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Patternmaking and Grading for women’s apparel.
• Knowledge of garment fit and construction for woven and knits in sportswear and dresses.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.

Responsibilities

• Create and update patterns through all stages towards final production.
• Assist in fit sessions with live models to improve garment fit.
• Create detailed Tech packs for new styles and costing.
• Measure fit and PP samples to ensure standards are met.
• Work closely with Head Patternmaker & Design Team.
