FYidoctors Assiniboia is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to deliver exceptional care and support to our patients in a fast-paced clinical setting. This casual role offers 0-19 hours per week, with clinic operations Monday to Thursday, and opportunities to develop frontline customer service skills within Canada's leading eyecare provider.

You'll greet patients, assist with check-in, schedules, billing, and eyewear pickups, while contributing to a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfort with computers and MS Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative, adaptable, proactive team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care.
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments.
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear.

• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required.

Our FYidoctors Assiniboia clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as a Patient Services Specialist to fill an existing vacancy!

In this role, you'll deliver exceptional service and support, enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic, and rewarding environment that values teamwork and collaboration.

This position is a casual role working 0-19 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Thursday.

What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required

What You Bring

• Previous retail experience is considered an asset
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences
