Job summary

FYidoctors Berwick, FYidoctors New Minas, and FYidoctors Wolfville clinics are seeking a Patient Services Specialist to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

You'll greet patients, manage check-in/out, assist with pre-testing, coordinate appointments, handle billing, eyewear pickup, and minor repairs, while collaborating with a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience is asset.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; customer-focused.

Our FYidoctors Berwick, FYidoctors New Minas, and FYidoctors Wolfville clinics are looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as a Patient Services Specialist to fill an existing vacancy!

In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional service and support, enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic, and rewarding environment that values teamwork and collaboration.

This position is a full-time role working 30-40 hours per week. Our clinics are open Monday to Friday.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required

What You Bring
