Job summary

FYidoctors, a division of FYihealth group, is seeking a Patient Services Specialist for its Tisdale clinic. The fixed-term role runs October 2026 to October 2027, with 30–40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

You will greet patients, handle check-in/out, assist with pre-testing, coordinate appointments, and manage billing. Strong teamwork and customer service are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite.
• Previous retail experience is an asset.

Description

Our FYidoctors - Tisdale - Healthplex clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as a Patient Services Specialist to fill an existing vacancy!

In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional service and support, enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic, and rewarding environment that values teamwork and collaboration.

This position is a fixed-term role from October 2026 to October 2027, working 30-40 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Friday.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required
