Job summary

FYidoctors Red Deer - Piper Creek clinic is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to join our team and deliver exceptional patient experiences in a fast-paced setting.

You'll greet patients, manage check-ins, coordinate appointments, support billing, and assist with minor eyewear repairs, while collaborating with a caring, patient-first team at our clinic open Monday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative, adaptable team player with growth mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required

Our FYidoctors Red Deer - Piper Creek clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as a Patient Services Specialist to fill an existing vacancy!

In this role, you'll deliver exceptional service and support, enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic, and rewarding environment that values teamwork and collaboration.

This position is a casualrole working 0-19 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Saturday.

What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
