Job summary

FYidoctors Abbotsford is seeking a Patient Services Specialist for a casual, 0-19 hours/week role at our Abbotsford clinic. The position focuses on welcoming patients, coordinating visits, and supporting eyewear care in a patient-first environment.

You will engage with patients across in-person, phone, and email channels, perform pre-testing, and assist with billing and appointment management while contributing to a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience is an asset.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

Our FYidoctors - Abbotsford - Clearbrook Plaza clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as a Patient Services Specialist to fill an existing vacancy!

In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional service and support, enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic, and rewarding environment that values teamwork and collaboration.

This position is a casual role working 0-19 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Saturday.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
