Job summary

North York General Hospital is seeking a Dietetic Attendant for Patient Food Services. The role involves meal selection, assembly, delivery and collection to support patient care in a busy hospital setting.

Part-time regular position with 4- or 8-hour shifts, day/evening/weekends at General Site (4001 Leslie Street). Public Health Food Handler's Certificate is mandatory; bilingualism is an asset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Public Health Food Handler's Certificate is mandatory
• Strong customer service background and prior work in institutional food service is an asset
• Bilingualism in French/English is an asset

Responsibilities

• Perform meal selection, meal assembly, meal delivery and collection for patient services.
• Assist with setting up and clearing patient meal areas and ensuring cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff to provide excellent service.
• Operate computerized/electronic devices related to patient food services.
