Job summary

Shared Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. The role supports patient admission, discharge and transfers, working within a clinical support stream.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient patient care and documentation. Requirements include a Bachelor of Nursing degree, current CRNM registration, and strong communication; knowledge of RHPA is essential.

Qualifications

• RHPA scope of practice understanding and application.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and data capture.
• Ability to facilitate patient admission/discharge/transfer across care teams.
• Strong communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Indigenous language knowledge preferred where possible.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient admission, transfer and discharge with the clinical team.
• Coordinate with physicians, nursing managers and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient flow.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and appropriate documentation.
