Job summary

Alberta Precision Labs is seeking an Administrative Support II to join our high-performing team in Calgary. This role provides essential clerical support and materials handling to assist Medical Laboratory staff in delivering accurate patient care.

You will perform data entry, case documentation, and both manual and in-system case assembly, ensuring timely delivery of cases to pathologists and proper preparation for external review.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Administrative support experience in an office, healthcare, laboratory, or other regulated environment.
• Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records.
• Experience providing customer service to internal or external clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and manual materials-handling support to Medical Laboratory Assistants, Technologists and Pathologists.
• Perform accurate data entry and order documentation of patient cases; assemble cases manually and in-system.
• Ensure cases are delivered to on-site pathologists or prepared for external site review as required.
• Maintain organized filing systems, retrieve materials, and assist with archival of slides and blocks.
