Job summary

Alberta Precision Laboratories seeks a physician with a medical degree and pathology specialization to join our on-site hospital team in Calgary. The role requires LMCC and MCCQE I/II, specialty residency training, and licensure by provincial authorities.

You will provide expert pathology services, lead a team of 16–20, and support fast-paced, high-accuracy work in a major urban centre. Relocation costs are covered by the employer.

Qualifications

• Must have LMCC and MCCQE I/II for licensure in Canada.
• Specialty residency training in pathology required or equivalent.
• Royal College certification or equivalent licensure needed.
• Provincial/territorial licensure must be secured to practise.
• Experience in laboratory medicine (pathology) preferred.

Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry

Pathology residency programs

Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities

Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)

Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II)
