Eataly is the world’s largest artisanal Italian food and beverage marketplace. Each Eataly location is unique, with its own character and theme, but all share the same goal: to provide guests with high-quality Italian, local, and homemade products, as well as educational experiences through classes and knowledgeable staff.
The Pastry Sous Chef oversees the production of all pastries, including Italian pasticcini, cakes, desserts, cookies, candies, and other dolci. They report directly to the Executive Chef and Pastry Chef de Cuisine, managing a team of approximately 10 employees. Responsibilities include supervising pastry production, managing the team, ensuring quality standards, producing decorative items, ordering supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and performing other duties as assigned.
Annual salary of $65k - $75k, with benefits including health insurance, paid time off, parental leave, 401K or RRSP, bonuses, and employee discounts.
