Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge invites applications for a Second Cook in our luxury lakeside kitchen. You will support the Executive Sous Chef, prepare a la carte and banquet items, and ensure high standards in a brand-new culinary environment.

Qualifications

• Two years kitchen experience in a fast-paced casual dining environment.
• Alberta Food Handler Certification is required.
• Solid knife handling and safety knowledge.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
• Customer-focused with calm, courteous demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Prepare and plate items for a la carte and banquet menus according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas and equipment.
• Know all menu items, features, and promotions; assist and oversee production.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and hotel policies.
