Job summary

Finning Canada is seeking a Material Supply Assistant to perform general shipping, receiving and warehousing duties at our Albian facility. You will join a safety‑conscious team that values reliability and attention to detail.

The role involves picking, packing, labeling orders, sorting stock, and delivering parts to Shop and mine sites. Overtime may be available; housing or camp options may be offered for non‑local candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (Grade 12)
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to successfully work under minimal supervision
• TDG and WHMIS certification, coupled with forklift training will be considered assets
• Previous warehousing and core inspection experience, hose building, as well as computer literacy are also desired
• Forklift training, and experience working with radio frequency and bar-coding technology would be assets
• Valid class 5 driver’s license with a successful drivers abstract required for field positions
• A strong commitment to safety is imperative

Responsibilities

• Picking customer and branch parts orders
• Packing and labeling parts orders for shipment
• Sorting and binning incoming stock
• Loading and unloading of the parts trucks
• Delivery of parts to Shop, and other Mine sites
