Job summary

Toromont Cat in Peterborough, Ontario, is seeking a Parts Warehouse Person to join our team. This role supports day-to-day warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, and maintains inventory to ensure superior service for internal and external customers.

Eligible candidates will handle parts processing, ordering, packing, and delivery to customers while adhering to safety policies. This full-time, permanent position offers competitive wages and benefits, with potential for flexible schedules

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary education is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours in all tasks.
• Perform daily parts operations including processing shop and customer orders, stock receipt and processing, picking and delivery of parts, and handling incoming/outgoing freight.
• Ensure customers’ needs are met in a professional manner.
• Maintain parts inventory and records, both physical and electronic.
• Provide on-call service on weekends for emergency parts orders on a rotating basis.
• Safely operate a lift truck.
• Assemble hoses.
• Package and ship dangerous goods as required.
• Assist with inventory organization and control.
