Kristian Electric Ltd. is seeking a proactive Parts Technician to join our Calgary branch. You will manage parts for welders, overhead cranes, and maintenance supplies, functioning as the main contact on the Order Desk and driving accurate quoting and order processing.

Qualifications

2 years’ experience as a Parts Technician or in a parts/order desk role.
Experience with crane, welder, or electrical parts is an asset.
Certification is an asset for the role.

Responsibilities

Serve as main contact on the Order Desk for parts sales related to welders, overhead cranes, and electrical/maintenance supplies.
Answer phones and emails for parts and order inquiries.
Direct customers to service areas for inquiries.
Maintain showroom and ensure stock is displayed.
Coordinate team emails and inquiries; direct-to-service flow.
Assist with stock transfers and order desk convenience.
Create sales orders and communicate updates to customers.
Prepare quotations for sales orders; support other branches as needed.

Kristian Electric is looking for a Parts Technician to join our Calgary branch. As a Parts Technician, you will be responsible for managing, looking up, and finding parts for customers and technicians for all welder and overhead crane parts. The ideal candidate will be:

Role Summary

As the Parts Technician, you will be the main point of contact on the Order Desk for all parts sales related to welders, overhead cranes, and other electrical/maintenance supplies. You will also identify, organize, price, and quote crane, welder, and electrical/maintenance parts and supplies.

Educational Requirements

Registered Apprentice or Journeyman Parts Technician certification is an asset

Experience and Skills Required

2 years’ experience working as a Parts Technician or in a parts/order desk role
Experience working with crane, welder, or electrical parts is an asset

Key Responsibilities

Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills as a main point of contact for customers coming in for any parts, order inquiries, and order desk sales
Answering phones and e-mails for parts and order inquiries
Navigating customers to service areas for service inquiries
Maintaining the showroom, ensuring display parts are adequately stocked and displayed
Coordinate teams’ emails, inquiries, and direct-to-service
Putting away stock as needed (with Shipping/Receiving and Inventory Controller) especially for convenience factor of order desk
Creating sales orders and maintaining communication with customers for updates
Preparing quotations for sales orders
Assisting other branches for any parts/supplies or order inquiries
Continuous improvement and knowledge development regarding parts and supplies
