Job summary

Rocky Mountain Equipment in Western Canada is seeking a proactive supply chain professional to manage end-to-end processes, liaise with suppliers and customers, and keep parts display and promotions aligned with seasonal needs.

You will monitor performance, produce regular reports, drive improvements, and support branch forecasts, with emphasis on accuracy, teamwork and understanding of agriculture and heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced parts department.
• Understanding of agriculture, heavy equipment and materials handling.
• Solid math skills for problem solving.
• Knowledge of AR liabilities, pricing matrices, inventory valuation and reports.

Responsibilities

• Managing the supply chain process and liaising with suppliers, manufacturers and customers.
• Co-ordinating supply chain processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintaining self-selection display and seasonal promotions.
• Monitoring external factors and preparing for customer needs.
• Developing business by securing new contracts and creating solutions.
• Producing regular reports and statistics to drive performance.
• Achieving productivity targets through teamwork and motivation.
• Providing input for corporate reports and forecasts.
• Analyzing data, monitoring performance and planning improvements including monthly reviews.

Responsibilities of the job:

• Managing the supply chain process and liaising with a variety of parties, including suppliers of raw materials, manufacturers, and consumers
• Co-ordinating the supply chain processes ensuring customer satisfaction
• Maintaining the self-selection display and ensuring seasonal parts and merchandise is properly displayed and promoted
• Monitoring external factors strategically preparing for and responding to customer needs
• Developing business by gaining new contracts, analyzing problems and producing new solutions
• Produce regular and timely reports and statistics to drive business performance
• Ensuring set productivity targets are met by motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork
• Providing input for corporate reports and forecasts for branch reporting
• Analyzing data, monitoring performance and planning improvements including monthly reviews

To be successful you will need:

• Excellent communication skills and be highly organized
• Experience in fast paced parts department
• Understanding of technical aspects of agriculture, heavy equipment and materials handling
• Sound understanding of basic mathematical processes and ability to mentally determine mathematical solutions to problems
• Proven knowledge of A/R Liabilities, Parts Pricing & Matrix, inventory valuation, piece ranking reports, loss sales reports, asset turnover and inventory control
