Job summary

Planet Ford in Brampton is hiring a Parts Receiver to join our dynamic team. You will receive orders, inspect shipments, sort parts and dispatch drivers. There is room to grow into a Parts Advisor position.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience, knowledge of Ford parts, strong computer skills and a valid Ontario driver’s license. CDK experience is an asset, and the role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and working Mon–Fri with Saturdays on rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDK experience is an asset.
• Must be personable, adaptable and capable of multitasking.
• Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Shipping and receiving parts.
• Dispatching parts drivers.
• Assisting in delivery as required.
• Unpacking and marking incoming parts and storing them in the stockroom according to a prearranged system.
• Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place.
• Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
• Review and process Ford warranty reports, including identifying and coordinating the return of warranty cores and related items to Ford.
• Other duties as required by management.

Here’s what you’ll deliver:

What do you need to succeed?

• Personable, adaptable, great at multitasking, and versatile.
  
• Must have availability to work Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, alternating Saturdays 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
  
• 1-2 years of similar experience and extensive product knowledge.
  
• CDK experience is considered an asset
  
• Willing to work as a member of a team and interact with others in a professional and courteous manner.
  
• A proven self-starter that can work well under pressure.
  
• A strong performer with excellent attention to detail.
  
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  
• A High School diploma or GED.
• Strong computer skills.
  
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and succeed.
  
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

Compensation (expected hourly wage): $18.00 - $22.00 per hour. The starting rate will be set within this range based on job-related factors such as relevant skills and experience.
