Job summary

Traveland RV Supercentres in Langley, BC is seeking a full-time OEM Parts Buyer to research parts, approve with suppliers, place and track purchase orders, and monitor warranty pre-approvals.

The role requires excellent people skills when dealing with customers and staff, accurate ordering, and careful record-keeping of invoices and parts movement. We offer competitive pay and a supportive dealership family environment.

Responsibilities

• Determine needs and accurately specify parts accordingly
• Create and modify purchase orders
• Issue purchase orders to appropriate vendor to order parts
• Record warranty parts returned
• Create special ordered parts on dealership computer system and notify ASM, technician or client upon receipt
• Review special order parts tracking
• Process and close open invoices
• Compare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received
• Keep records of outside purchases and parts received and issued

OEM Parts Purchaser

Our Corporate Head Office is seeking a full-time OEM Parts Buyer.The right candidate will be researching parts, ensuring proper approval internally and from manufacturer/supplier, working with warranty for pre-approvals, ordering parts and monitoring parts orders. You’ll also need excellent people skills when dealing with customers and internal staff. The right person can expect great pay, great benefits, and a great dealership family environment.

Wages

• $20.00 - $25.00 hourly depending on experience with IDS (ERP System), the RV industry and the parts ordering process.
