Atlas Appliances in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Parts Person to deliver exceptional customer service and manage parts sales in the service department. The role involves assisting technicians, verifying pricing, and maintaining inventory with accuracy at the point of sale.

The candidate should have strong communication and organizational skills, plus familiarity with Word, Excel and Outlook to handle transactions and records efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related parts experience.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Strong listening skills.
• Ability to interpret customer needs.
• Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell products and provide excellent service for customers.
• Assist in keeping the Parts department clean and orderly.
• Record all sales and/or customer transactions.
• Provide Service Technicians with parts as required.
• Provide accurate pricing and availability of parts for all requested quotes.
• Control inventory; placing parts orders to ensure maximum sales and customer satisfaction.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks.
• Follow prescribed cash, credit, and check processing procedures.
• Process cores, warranties, and new return merchandise as required at a point of sale.
• Verify receiving documents and support with Shipper/Receiver duties.
• Follow up on shortages and expedite to Management.
• Other duties as assigned.
