Job summary

Brandt is seeking a Parts Manager to oversee the parts inventory system, optimize departmental processes, and drive profitable parts sales while ensuring high customer satisfaction. The role focuses on accurate record-keeping, cost control, and collaboration with branches.

With a minimum of five years in parts or warehouse management, you will lead a team, manage budgets, and coordinate with Operations, Service, and Sales to enhance parts support and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ combined experience in parts, warehouse management, and business.
  • Ability to effectively lead a team to achieve required goals.
  • Ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Possess inventory management skills.
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral.

Responsibilities

  • Build positive relationships with customers and vendors with a focus on quality service.
  • Manage all aspects of the parts inventory system to ensure accurate tracking, ordering, and stocking of parts.
  • Optimize the Parts Department processes to improve both internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute annual parts sales business plans and budgets with the inclusion to provide support to other Brandt branches.
  • Monitor and manage department expenses, ensuring disciplined control and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the other departments to maximize cross-marketing opportunities for increased parts sales and customer engagement.
  • Oversee paper flow to ensure accurate and timely recording of all parts revenue, expenses, and activities.
  • Work with product support and manufacturing groups to source and stock internally manufactured product parts.
  • Ensure a timely and efficient turnaround of parts needed for internal service jobs.
  • Regularly assess departmental operations and storage layout, implementing changes as necessary to maximize efficiency.
  • Monitor achievement of department goals, addressing any gaps in performance and driving continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the department is compliant with safety standards, minimizing workplace injuries and accidents.
  • Supervise and manage Parts Department employees, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Recruit, hire, and train staff in coordination with the Branch Manager and HR, ensuring compliance with training and certification standards.
  • Review employee performance against goals regularly and provide feedback for improvement and growth.
  • Implement performance management strategies and employee development plans to achieve high levels of engagement and retention.
  • Schedule staff to ensure superior service coverage during business hours.
  • Work closely with the Operations, Service, and Sales teams to ensure seamless parts support and foster collaboration across departments.
