Job summary

Brandt in Fort McMurray, Alberta is seeking a Parts Person for our Construction and Forestry location. You will help customers find necessary parts, provide pricing information, and process online orders while supporting warehouse operations.

Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will unload, receive, store, locate, ship parts, and assist service technicians. A valid journeyperson certification is an asset; strong computer skills, including Excel, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are

Qualifications

• Capable of meeting physical demands of parts/warehousing trade.
• Effective customer service skills and ability to build lasting partnerships with customers both over the phone and in person
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Proficiency in operating a personal computer and utilizing software such as Excel to input and manage data effectively
• Previous experience in the parts industry preferred
• Solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills Journeyperson
• Certification is considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Problem solving Unloading, receiving, and storing incoming parts and other materials in the warehouse and yard
• Locate parts and other materials, and ship to customers and other branches
• Provide assistance to branch service technicians as required
• Place inventory stock orders
• Make inventory and bin adjustments
• Accurately and completely document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information Use parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems
• Other duties as required
