Job summary

The Humberview Group is seeking a reliable Parts Driver for its Applewood Chevrolet Buick GMC location in Mississauga. You will safely pick up and deliver automotive parts to customers, wholesale accounts, and vendors while upholding excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy, processing payments with invoices, and supporting the parts team. This role offers a part-time schedule, 8:00 a.m. start, and a competitive hourly wage with benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Clean driving record is essential.
• Good knowledge of Mississauga and the GTA.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily parts runs on schedule.
• Pick up and deliver parts to dealerships, customers, and vendors.
• Provide exceptional customer service during daily parts runs.
• Assist parts warehouse with inventory, shipping, and receiving tasks.

Applewood Chevrolet Buick GMC is currently looking for a Parts Driver to add to their team in Mississauga. Applewood Chevrolet Buick GMC is proud to be a member of The Humberview Group, representing 20 dealerships and 18 automotive brands.

As a Parts Driver, you’ll play an important role in keeping our Parts Department running efficiently. You’ll be responsible for safely picking up and delivering automotive parts and equipment to customers, wholesale accounts, and vendors, while providing excellent customer service.

You’ll also help maintain inventory accuracy and ensure payments are collected and matched with invoices upon delivery.

Compensation: $20 per hour.

Hours: Monday to Friday, start time is 8:00 am until deliveries are completed (average 4-6 hours per day).

What You’ll Do

• Completing daily parts runs on schedule.
• Parts driver will be expected to pick up and deliver parts (within our dealerships & to customers).
• Displaying exceptional customer service to our clients and suppliers throughout daily parts run.
• Assisting the parts warehouse with inventory, shipping, receiving and various tasks as required.
• Assisting with basic parts advising as required.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the parts van.
• Other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager.

What We Look For

• Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
• Good geographical knowledge of Mississauga and the GTA.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Previous automotive industry or delivery driving experience is preferred.
• The ability to multi-task and work under minimal supervision.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines within a fast-paced team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• A passion for providing exceptional customer service.
