Job summary

Royal Distributing is seeking an engaged Parts Associate to join our busy retail team. You will help customers select hard parts for powersports machines and ensure an outstanding shopping experience in-store.

Responsibilities include identifying customer needs, answering questions, merchandising, and adhering to safety policies. Physical requirements include standing for long periods and lifting up to 30 pounds.

• Parts, powersports, or mechanical knowledge is a definite asset.
• Prior experience in a similar role or industry is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.

We provide our customers with quality products and top service to keep them riding their snowmobiles, ATVs, motorcycles, dirt bikes and more. The Opportunity

We are currently seeking Parts Associates to join our team at our busy retail location. We are in search of team members with mechanical knowledge of powersports vehicles (snowmobiles, ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, etc) to advise and assist our customers with selecting the correct hard parts for their machine, and ensure they have an outstanding shopping experience.

• Answering customer questions from in-store and call-in customers
• Assisting with merchandising and maintaining visual standards
• Adhering to company safety policy and safety compliance regulations
• Other tasks as assigned by your supervisor/manager

Additional Information

• Starting Rate: $18.40/an hour
• This position reports to the Assistant Store Managers and the Store Manager
• This position requires team members to work varying hours, seasonal overtime, and shifts during days, evenings, and weekends
• This position requires team members to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder and to move merchandise (weighing up to 30 pounds) throughout the store
• Steel toe, green patch work boots are required
• This is a vacant open position.
